Glyphosate: European Food Standards Agency says it isn’t carcinogenic … do you believe the EFSA?

We read at’t-carcinogenic that

“The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has announced that glyphosate (a chemical weedkiller) is unlikely to cause cancer. This is despite findings earlier this year, from the World Health Organisation’s International Agency for Research into Cancer (IARC) that glyphosate is ‘probably carcinogenic’.”

Glyphosate is typically mixed with other chemicals becoming, in the process, much more toxic (e.g. Roundup).

The European Commission will have consideration of these findings in deciding whether or not to retain the glyphosate on the European Union’s list of approved active substances.

What’s your Carbon Footprint?

The link below takes you to a site with a calculator that enables you to estimate the greenhouse gas emissions generated in your day-to-day life. Once you calculate your climate footprint, you can try to reduce your emissions and then compensate for the rest by purchasing United Nations-certified carbon credits.
